Posted on January 31, 2018 by Jason Nason

I’ll admit that I did see it when I was a kid but I’ve mostly blocked it out of my memory. Well we can prepare to completely forget that movie ever existed as Nintendo is making a real Mario movie. Nintendo announced via their Twitter account that they are partnering with Illumination to produce a movie starring Mario, co-produced by Shigeru Miyamoto and Chris Meledandri. According to a press release from Nintendo,

New Details For My Time At Portia

Posted on January 29, 2018 by Joshua Rust

Games like Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, and Dark Cloud 2 have all been cited as inspirations to Pathea Games sandbox simulation RPG: My Time In Portia. These influence can been seen heavily in the video below. I can’t speak for most people, but it’s games like this and Stardew Valley that can keep me entertained for hours and not even notice that hours have gone by. Here is how the game is described by the developers  (via its Kickstarter Page): Setting sail for Portia, a town on the edge of civilization, you’ll arrive to find a workshop left to you by your Pa

Animal Crossing update happening this week?

Posted on January 28, 2018 by Jason Nason

Last week there was a notice posted in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp that a big update was coming soon. That update may be almost upon us. The game has been updated to version 1.1.4 in the Google Play store and upon installing the update the game prompts to download a large update (around 60MB or so) to your device. This is undoubtedly the content for the newest update, which is certainly right around the corner. Updates for Nintendo’s mobile games tend to go live at around 1:00am ET so, the update may go live late tonight. Save for that

Posted on January 27, 2018 by Rae Michelle Richards

Visually stunning, action focused M.O.B.A Paragon will cease operations on April 26th developer Epic Games announced in a statement to the remaining players within the Paragon Community yesterday.   The Paragon Team thanked all of the players who have stuck with the game and, in what is probably the most honest / direct statement I’ve seen from a AAA developer in a long time, admitted that their vision for Paragon wasn’t sustainable. Despite their best effort the Paragon Team ‘failed’ their player base and were sorry to see Paragon shut down.  Refunds for the Paragon Game (originally priced at $19.99 USD

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 | Review

Posted on January 23, 2018 by Meghan Kass

The original Xenoblade Chronicles was released for the Wii back in 2010 and then surprisingly re-released for the 3DS in 2015. A side game in the franchise, Xenoblade Chronicles X (prounouced Cross, not X) was released for the Wii-U also in 2015.  Now, in 2017, a sequel to the first title has been released and thus we have Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for the Nintendo Switch. Developed by series creators Monolith Soft and published of course, by Nintendo. For longtime fans this game may have a whole new cast of characters to get acquainted with but what matters is how well
