Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon Arrives This Holiday Season

It looks like Mario’s little brother is about to get his time to shine with the announcement that Luigi’s Mansion Darkmoon for the Nintendo 3DS will be released this holiday season. During the Nintendo 3DS software press conference several new features were mentioned including the ability to explore multiple mansions and use a multicolored beams to the feet Luigi’s foes. Death Is Not The End: The First ZombieU Gameplay

The lead designer of the newly announced ZombieU for the Nintendo Wiiu, Gabrielle Shrager, debuted the first gameplay footage from the title this afternoon. One of the hooks that sets the ZombieU apart from other modern horror games is that your character only has one life. Once your avatar has met its untimely demise you’ll be warped to the body of another survivor in a similar situation, so death isn’t necessarily a game over, but this is an interesting mechanic. Pikmin 3 Detailed

Nintendo confirmed development of Pikmin 3 today, showing off the game for the first time. The game features full HD graphics and looks to star new forms of pikmin as they try to build bridges and other objects to help survive. With Wii U Motion control, you’re able to aim specifically at where to aim Pikmin. ZombiU Announced!

ZombiU was announced for the Wii U today during Ubisoft’s Press Briefing today. The game was definitely more catered to the core gamer and looks like the game will be very bloody. At one point, you will be able to decapitate somone using a gun sword. Consider us, psyched!

Rayman: Legends Wii U Shown at E3

If you wanted your Wii U news,  well now you’ve got it! Rayman: Legends for the Wii was shown today and boy does it look fun. Using the Wii U Gamepad, you can control a new helper buddy named Murphy. You can do cool moves cooperatively. The colors of the game are bright and adventures. In the Wii U version, you can use the original Wii controllers as well. Code of Princess Heading To 3DS This Fall

Action role-playing game Code of Princess will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS in North America this fall, publisher Atlus confirmed this morning via press release.  The game offers a unique blend of 2-D side scrolling beat ’em up gameplay combined with traditional RPG stat building, all the while maintaining the brutal difficulty level that most Atlus games are known for. Code Princess will also support up to four players playing locally via Wi-Fi or online using the Nintendo Network.

Our first look at the Wiiu’s menu showcases several different aspects of the system. When the system is first turned on players are transported to a menu known as the Miiveruse. Nintendo Confirms Near Field Communication For WiiU Gamepad

During today’s Nintendo direct video conference president Satura Iwata confirmed that the Nintendo Wii U Gamepad will support near field communication. We previously speculated that the Wii U tablet would be able to communicate with game cards or figures through NFC technology after an internal ubisoft video leaked out. Mr. Iawata mentioned during the early portion of the conference that the tablet contains both an NFC reader and NFC writer in the lower left-hand section of the game pad. Nintendo Direct Pre-E3 Presentation Tonight

Tonight at 6pm EDT over at the Nintendo Direct website Satoru Iwata will be hosting a broadcast revealing new information about the Wii U. Rage Against The Machine Rebel Their Way To Rockband Store

Politically charged Rock legends Rage against the Machine head to the Rock Band Store this week for both the Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Network. Three tracks are now available for each version, included in the Rage Against the Machine pack are “Killing in the name of” from RATM’s self-titled 1992 album and “Sleep Now In The Fire” and “Bombtrack” from 1999’s The Battle of Los Angeles. Nintendo To Support Digital Downloads

Starting in August Nintendo will begin releasing its first party titles, and possibly allowing third party titles in both physical and digital releases simultaneously. This new digital distribution service is going to affect both the 3DS and the Wii U when it launches later this year. This new digital distribution service isn’t just going to effect Nintendo’s first party titles either. Today they announced through a statement to IGN, “We are currently preparing a program for third parties, but have nothing specific to announce at this time”.

Rayman Legends Boasts Exclusive Wii-U Functionality
