Super Mario Run launches for iPhone & iPad on December 15th

Nintendo revealed today that the first-ever mobile game featuring Mario goes on sale for iPhone and iPad on December 15th in North America. Super Mario Run can be downloaded from the App Store at no cost, and players can try elements of the game’s three modes for free. Once the game has been downloaded, a one-time payment of $13.99 CAD will grant unlimited access to each of the three modes in this release.

Square Enix shutting down Guardian Cross

Square Enix announced today that they are shutting down their mobile game Guardian Cross. Square stated the shut down was due to the difficulty in offering satisfactory to all the players. Guardian Cross, which was released on September 13th, 2012 will end services as of January 10th, 2017. Square dropped Android support from the game back in March. The announcement comes on the heels of the release of Square Enix’s latest mobile game Guardian Codex, a brand-new title appears from the creators of Guardian Cross. Pokémon GO has been updated with the addition of daily bonuses

Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated for Android and iOS devices. The update includes daily bonuses. Playing the game you’ll earn bonuses for the first Pokémon catch and PokéStop visit each day. You’ll receive a larger bonus when you do this seven days in a row. Catching a Pokémon every day will earn 500 XP and 600 Stardust. Catching a Pokémon every day for 7 days straight will earn a larger bonus of 2,000 XP and 2,400 Stardust. New Pokémon Go Content Released

While the craze for Pokémon Go has died down a little bit. With that said it’s still bringing in around $2 million a day. That’s incredible. To keep players entranced in the Poke-madness, Niantic have been periodically releasing updates to the game. They have started rolling out another one today as version 0.41.2 for Android and 1.11.2 for iOS are available now for you Pokémon trainers. Razer Publishing Gurgamouth Via OUYA Publishing Label

Razer – the well known hardware manufacturer – has announced that they will be expanding the number of platforms that indie flying fighting game Gurgamoth will be available on multiple platforms including PC, Mac, Android Phones, Razer Forge TV, NVIDIA Shield and Amazon Fire TV set top boxes. Gurgamoth is a multiplayer “flying fighting” title where multiple friends have just one objective – sacrifice your fellow players using hazards within the environment itself. There are a lot of puzzle games, and even more of the matching gem style puzzle games. While Candy Crush seems to be the most well known game in the genre, I think the very first one that I ever played was Bejeweled. For the most part they’re pretty much the same thing. Nintendo launching Kirby x Miitomo Retweet event and items

On September 15th Miitomo is going to get a little pink. And round. Nintendo is launching Kirby inspired items in the mobile app, and it kicks off with a retweet event. There will be no shortage of Kirby-themed items for your Mii character to wear so you can show off that Kirby flair! The Pokémon Company just announced that Pokémon GO Plus will be available in much of the world next week, on Sept. 16. Pokémon GO Plus is a companion device that connects to your phone over Bluetooth Smart (the Bluetooth low energy connection designed for health and fitness applications), allowing you to keep your phone in your pocket and go about your day-to-day activities while still being able to collect valuable resources and capture even the most elusive Pokémon.

Nintendo’s Super Mario Run Brings Mario to iOS

At today’s Apple media event, Shigeru Miyamoto made a big splash when he appeared on-stage to announce Super Mario Run. Speaking alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook through translator Bill Trinen, Miyamoto detailed Nintendo’s first-ever iOS game. The game features traditional Mario platforming reworked for mobile devices. Tracker Functionality Returns To Pokemon Go [For Some Users]

Pokémon GO updated again with minor bug fixes

Niantic announced today that mobile game sensation Pokémon GO has been updated to version 0.33.0 for Android and 1.3.0 for iOS devices.
