Deep Silver and SouthEnd Interactive are set to release Sacred Citadel next week, Wed. April 17th, for XBLA, PSN, & Steam. Sacred Citadel is part side-scrolling brawler, a bit RPG, and a game you will want to have some co-op buddies around for. It does support both online and offline 3 player co-op, so go find your co-op friends and get them ready for it.

There are four different character/classes that you can control (see videos of each after the jump). There is the Safiri Warrior, Khukuri Shaman, Ancarian Ranger, & the Seraphim Mage. It’s pretty obvious where three of the four characters skill will lie, but the Khukuri Shaman is basically your cleric. So there is pretty much a character for every style, be it fighter, archer, mage, or healer.

So here is the first video featuring the Safiri Warrior:

Is the fighter/tank not your style? You want to be the one responsible for keeping everyone alive? Well here is the Khukuri Shaman:

Prefer to hang back and let arrows rain down from the sky? Ancarian Ranger is the one you need!

And for my personal favorite in any RPG game, the mage class: Seraphim Mage.

Sacred Citadel will be available next Wednesday, April 17th, for XBLA, PSN, & Steam. It will carry a 1200 MSP price (or $15) when it releases.
