One of the many game announcements for the Nintendo Switch at E3 includes the addition of the wildly popular Rocket League to Nintendo’s newest home console.
Winner or nominee of more than 150 ‘Game of the Year’ awards, Rocket League is a high-powered hybrid of arcade soccer and driving with rewarding physics-based gameplay. Take to the pitch for a fully-featured offline season mode, multiple game types, casual and competitive online matches, and special “Mutators” that let you change the rules entirely. Express yourself with one of the deepest customization systems around and battle opponents on other platforms with cross-network play.

The game will support both TV mode for 1-4 players, a single player tabletop mode, as well as handheld mode for 1-8 players. The game will support both local play as well as online play for 1-8 players.
Rocket League will be released for the Nintendo Switch during the holidays 2017, though no firm release date as been set.
