Circle Entertainment tweeted yesterday that they are putting the finishing touches on Mercenaries Saga 3 for the Nintendo 3DS in North America. The English version of the game is nearly done and is nearly ready to be submitted to Nintendo of America and Europe. The game was originally being aimed for a Q4 release, but could be released sooner.
The game, which is developed by Rideon Japan, is set to be released in the Japanese eShop on October 5th. It will include 28 chapters as well as a free battle stage.
Mercenaries Saga 3 will join other upcoming Circle western titles including Mr. Pumpkin Adventure (WiiU) and Fairune 2 (3DS) which are scheduled for an October release.
The chronology of the game is somewhat confusing with the unusual naming patterns of the games in this series. Mercenaries Saga 3 is the fourth game in the series, and follows Adventure Bar Story, Mercenaries Saga 2, and recent release Adventure Labyrinth Story.
