Bruce Straley and Neil Druckman the pair of directors behind the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has announced via the PlayStatiom Blog that Nathan Drake’s latest adventure is being delayed. A Thief’s End is now slated to ship sometime in the Spring of 2016 rather than later this Fall.
In part the duo wrote on the PlayStation Blog:
“So we’ve made the difficult choice of pushing the game’s release date. Giving us a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the team’s high standards but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title.”
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s gameplay was revealed at last November’s Playstation Experience Expo (PSX) with a fantastic 15 minute gameplay demo. What do you think about Uncharted 4’s delay?
