Square Enix has decided to delay the upcoming re-mastered versions of Final Fantasy X & Final Fantasy X-2 the publisher announced this morning. Instead of launching on the PlayStation 3 this November the collection has been moved to March 21^st 2014 for the PlayStation 3 in North America. No news on the release date of the upcoming Vita version of the Final Fantasy X HD re-masters, but Square Enix issued a small statement to Joystiq where they will clear things up at a ‘future date’.

Final Fantasy X / X-2 has been touched up for the current generation of consoles with enhanced graphics and both games pressed on to a single disc. Other improvements that Square announced include the inclusion of 60 re-arranged music tracks and cross-save support for those who will be playing it on both PS Vita and PS3.

Did you pick up a PlayStation 4 this past Friday? Well it seems that a million gamers brought home a new console, as Sony has announced that one million consoles where placed in the hands of gamers within the first 24 hours. The PlayStation 4 launched in North America on Friday November 15^th and is scheduled for release in Europe later this month and Japan in early 2014.

Sony’s latest console launched alongside the following retail games: Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, FIFA 14, Injustice: Gods Among Us – Ultimate Edition, Just Dance 2013, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, Lego: Marvel Super Heroes, Madden NFL 25, Need for Speed: Rivals and Skylander’s Swap Force.
